I’m a mom of two and I can very much relate to the feeling of being overwhelmed! It’s nice to hear that actually ADDING to your workload—when it’s related to service–can bring MORE space to your life. I have recently been considering a job opportunity at a non-profit, and although it inspires me, have been hesitating due to family responsibilities. But this made me feel like it’s possible to balance family with a passionate project, and my even enhance my life as a mom. Got me thinking!

I struggle with this at work all the time! I want to be professional but also a good mom. I’m learning to balance both parts of my life slowly but surely. PLEASE write more about how you are all learning to strike a balance and be succesful in both areas. Thanks!

I applaud you even trying. So many people don’t even make the attempt. I try myself at home and find it difficult to always get it right. It’s nice to hear you are just regular women trying to be green not perfect. Makes me feel better and hope to learn more from your experience “going green.”
